347 applications for 8 bars in MedchalAbove 3 crore revenue received in the form of non-refundable fee
Eight more new bars have been alloted for Medchal Malkajgiri district and these have been completed through Lucky draw of lots. The government issued a notification to new bars and restaurants on the 25th of last month, which received 347 applications for eight bars in the district, with a non-refundable fee of Rs.1 lakh.
In this view, allocations were made by lottery draw basis behalf of Additional Collector Samson in the Prajavani Hall at Collectorate. It was not only male applications but also women who applied also were at allotment process. About Rs 3,47,00,000 worth of revenue in the form of non-refundable application fee was received from district.
On this occasion all the details were communicated directly through videography as well as LEDs display to make it transparent. The process was carried out by Medical – Malkajgiri District Excise and Prohibition Officers Pradeep Rao and Ganesh. Prohibition and Excise inspectors Mallaiah , Srinivas, Jeevan, Kiran, Sahadev were present.
